THE FEAR OF THE LORD
Deuteronomy 10:12-13
Moses spoke in boldness and truth to the Israelites about what it is to fear or revere the Lord.
As we read these verses we can gain great insight into the heart posture that we should have toward the Lord.
For those that don’t know God, the realization that when death comes knocking they will meet their Maker, should strike fear into their hearts. The fear of judgment should hopefully drive them into the arms of the Father. This is not the fear of the Lord that true Christians have.
To know the Lord is to fear or revere the Lord. This is a requirement for those that place their faith in Jesus Christ. We do not fear His wr
